Welcome to Talley High, home of the Otters

Dear Talley Families,

It is with great joy and excitement that I welcome you to the 26-27 school year. It’s hard for me to believe this will be my 5th year serving as the Proud Principal of Talley High School & Renton RISE and my 29th year in education! 

 At Talley High School & Renton RISE (Readiness Independence Skills Employment), we are committed to fostering an equity-centered,  inclusive and dynamic learning environment that supports each student's educational needs. Through small class sizes, personalized support, and a combination of traditional, vocational, and online learning opportunities, we empower students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals.

I am incredibly proud of the dedicated educators and staff who make Talley HS such a special place. Their passion, expertise, and commitment to students help create a school community where learning is meaningful, relationships are valued, and every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.

We believe that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. We are grateful for the trust, support, and collaboration of our families as we work together to ensure that every student feels seen, heard, supported, and valued.
